That's right, pick-up orders have no shipping charges or minimums.
The fastest delivery: our stores offer in-store pick-up in 3 hours or less for in-stock items. You will receive email confirmation notifying you when your order is ready to go!

For items not available in store today, you can still order online to have those items delivered to your favourite store. Select Pick up in store when adding to your bag, or before check-out. You will find an estimated delivery date in checkout.
Free Standard Shipping
Standard Shipping is free on orders $49 or more shipped to your home in Canada, before taxes.
Free Shipping Requirements:
- Free Shipping applies only to orders of merchandise, excluding taxes. Promotional coupons and plum point redemptions, where applicable, will be deducted from your subtotal and may affect your order's eligibility.
- The purchase of gift cards, electronic gift cards, eBooks, or digital Audiobooks do not count towards the Free Shipping minimum order requirement.
- Some items aren’t eligible for free shipping because of their size. These items are labelled ineligible on their item page.
- Cancelling items may affect your order's eligibility for Free Shipping.
- If your order has items shipping to your home and items for Pick up in Store, only the items shipping to your home count towards the $49 minimum.
- We only ship to addresses in Canada. We do not offer international shipping, including to the United States (US).
plumPLUS Free Shipping Eligibility Requirements:
- plumPLUS members qualify for free shipping on all purchases with a few exceptions.
- Certain items are not eligible for Free Shipping. Items that are not eligible for Free Shipping will be noted on item pages.

Returns Policy
General: Most items may be returned for a full refund up to 30 days from the purchase or in the case of delivery from the shipping date with proof of purchase.
Indigo's 2026 "Holiday Returns Policy," will be updated here soon.

Guaranteed Great Reads: Items identified as Heather's Picks, Staff Picks of the Month, or Indigo's Best Books of the Year, may be returned at any time and in any condition for a full refund or exchange with proof of purchase. Indigo.ca returns more than 30 days after purchase must be returned to any Chapters, Indigo, IndigoSpirit, or Coles store. We reserve the right to modify or to cancel the terms of this guarantee at any time and without further notice.

Free Returns to Any Store - Chapters, Indigo or Coles
Bring the item(s) and the packing slip to any store and we'll be happy to apply the refund to your original payment card or online account within 30 days of your purchase.
Returning Your Item Through Canada Post
Follow these three easy steps to return your item(s) through Canada Post
1. Sign into indigo.ca, visit My Orders in Account Centre, and select the order you wish to return. Return by Canada Post is available to select below your Order Total on the right-hand side of the screen.
2. Print the return label and attach it to the outside of your parcel.
3. Bring your parcel to any Canada Post outlet. Items with our return label will ship free.
