Recorded in Calgary between both Broom Closet and OCL Chestermere Studios and produced by longtime collaborator, Russell Broom (Kyle McKearney, Art Bergmann), MIXTAPE is the follow-up to the 2021 album Descendant and features some of Jann’s favourite nineties pop recordings from the likes of Sia, Seal, Joan Osborne, Robyn, Don Henley, Chris Isaac, and others.
